Lakshmi Ramshankar

Director

Having served as a lead Montessori teacher at renowned Montessori Schools in Frisco and Plano, as well as in Arizona, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Despite earning a bachelor’s degree in science, her true passion lies in educating young children, which led her to embark on her teaching journey in 1999 within a traditional school setting. It was through her own daughter’s experience with Montessori education that she discovered its profound benefits and values, solidifying her commitment to this approach.

She feels honored to assume such a significant role in guiding young minds.

Embracing a child-centered approach, she firmly believes in the transformative power of Montessori education, recognizing that the children she educates today will shape the future. Inspired by her interactions with parents seeking guidance on handling common childhood challenges, she pursued certifications as a Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and a Positive Discipline Parent Educator.

Drawn to Montessori education for its unconventional yet holistic approach, she is dedicated to nurturing the development of all children, regardless of their learning differences or social backgrounds. Eager to contribute to a dynamic community, she looks forward to collaborating with like-minded individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of children.

She is an AMS (American Montessori Society) and NAMC (North American Montessori Center) certified Montessori teacher with numerous years of teaching experience in the Montessori field. Having served as a lead Montessori teacher at renowned Montessori Schools in Frisco and Plano, as well as in Arizona, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Additionally, she serves as an instructor at the North Texas Montessori Institute for Adult Learners, where she has developed and implemented a comprehensive curriculum on Child Development and various Montessori modules.

Ms. Asma holds a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics, is Montessori certified, and has earned several early childhood education certificates. With 15 years of experience as a primary teacher, she is dedicated to child development and passionate about educating children to build lasting knowledge and skills.

Years of Experience: Over 10 years

I’m Ms. Sireesha Sripada, a certified Montessori teacher with over a decade of experience, having started my journey in 2013.

I’m passionate about the Montessori method and committed to helping young learners thrive. Guiding children through their educational growth has been a fulfilling endeavor, and I look forward to many more years of inspiring and nurturing their curiosity and development.

I enjoy spending time in nature. Gardening gives me peace and pleasure, and it is a fruitful experience to harvest my bountiful food from my little garden.

Shireen Farrukh

Years of Experience: 20-plus years

Ms. Shireen is thrilled to teach in the Toddler 2 classroom this year. She has experience working with children of all ages, from infants to primary school, and truly enjoys her time with the children. Ms. Shireen is passionate about teaching and looks forward to making a positive impact on your child’s life. Shireen holds a degree in Zoology from The University of Karachi.

Valerie Pascual

Assistant Toddler Teacher

Qualifications: Studio Art Degree with a Concentration in Drawing & Painting

Years of Experience: 3 years

Ms. Valerie brings a wealth of talent to Little Marvels Montessori. She holds a degree in Studio Art with a focus on drawing and painting. Being bilingual, she takes pleasure in delivering Spanish lessons to the toddlers. During her leisure hours, she finds enjoyment in playing soccer, spending quality time with family, and engaging in video games.

Hamdam Baghi

Classroom: Infant Room

 Years of Experience: Over 7 years

Ms. Hamdam is an individual who relocated to the United States in 2019 and currently resides in Frisco with her husband. Having a deep passion for working with children, she has spent the past three years in the delightful role of working in the infant room. Ms. Hamdam finds immense fulfillment in her career as she witnesses the boundless wonder and joy that infants bring into her daily life. In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Hamdam has a keen interest in football, with a particular fondness for the Dallas Cowboys. She also harbors a love for music and is skilled in playing the ‘Daf,’ a traditional framed drum, along with engaging in percussion.

Farideh Gorbhani

Ms. Farideh is proud to be at Little Marvels Montessori. She is a graduate of the University of Iran and has a passion for working with children. With experience in both traditional and Montessori environments, she has worked with children from infants through Primary. As an infant teacher, Ms. Farideh takes great joy in nurturing and caring for the little ones while witnessing their growth.

Karla Frances

Ms. Karla Frances grew up in Plano, TX. She has a 3-year-old son, who also attends LMM. She has always enjoyed working with toddlers and infants. She loves watching them grow and learn. Ms. Karla is compassionate and loving with each child, watching over them to keep them safe and explore the environment around them.

Minji Yom

Enrichment Teacher

Classroom: Enrichment (Music and Arts)

Qualifications: Graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Arizona

Years of Experience: Over 10 years  

Minji Yom is an enrichment educator at LMM, where she has the privilege of teaching both music and art. A dedicated Fine Arts graduate from the University of Arizona specializing in Visual Communication, Minji is passionate about nurturing children’s artistic talents. Over the course of a decade, she has imparted her knowledge to K-12 students in Arizona through private lessons and volunteering at church Sunday schools and summer programs.

Having relocated to Allen in 2016, Minji continued her mission at the Academy of Dream Art, where she played a crucial role in helping students hone their artistic skills and create portfolios. Outside of teaching, Minji enjoys visiting art museums, playing the piano, and listening to music.

Jisha Aneesh

Special Education Teacher

Qualifications: Master in Business Administration, MA in Psychology, Diploma in Special Education focused on learning disability, Autism, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Years of Experience: Over 4 years

Jisha Aneesh, a dedicated professional, takes pride in her association with Little Marvels Montessori. Having earned a Master’s in Business Administration and completed post-graduation in MA Psychology, she also holds a Diploma in Special Education, specializing in learning disability, Autism, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Her credentials include certifications in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as Psychological Counseling. Currently serving as a General Education support teacher at Little Marvels Montessori, Jisha brings over 4 years of valuable experience working with differently-abled children.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jisha enjoys spending quality time with her family and children. She has a keen interest in exploring new technologies, indulging in reading, and embarking on travel adventures. Gardening, home renovations, and DIY projects also hold a special place in her heart.

Believing in the uniqueness of every child, Jisha is committed to fostering a caring, inspiring, and engaging atmosphere at Little Marvels Montessori. As an educator, she aims to assist students in reaching their full potential emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Creating a safe, risk-free, and collaborative environment is her approach to nurturing positive character and leadership traits in students, essential for their journey toward becoming productive citizens. Jisha emphasizes the significance of a positive early education environment as a crucial foundation for leading a successful life.
